Mr. Sander, 42, is the Senior Analyst of Arctas Capital Group’s Houston office. Mr. Sander was an integral member of the team in developing and financing the company’s 40MW wind power project in Central America and the financing of the acquisition of its pipeline in Colombia. He has advised clients on the valuation of assets including: a hydroelectric power plant, a coal to liquids project, a rail project for the transportation of coal, biodiesel and ethanol projects, a biodiesel feedstock project, an LNG terminal & combined cycle power plant project.

From 2002 to 2004, he was a Valuation Manager at Genesis Partners where he valued privately held companies, oil & gas interests and intellectual property for clients in industries including: automotive, distribution, energy, manufacturing, medical, real estate, staffing and technology.

Prior to that, he was Controller & Finance Director of a pre-IPO software company where he negotiated and closed a credit facility and managed the finance & accounting functions.

He was a Corporate Tax Manager at Schlumberger from 1995 to 2000, where he led the corporate tax planning and compliance functions for seven manufacturing & engineering technology centers.

From 1992 to 1995 he was a Senior Tax Accountant at Deloitte & Touche where he provided tax advisory services to financial institutions, real estate partnerships and manufacturing entities.

He started his career as a Public Accountant at Conklin Hruzek & Co. where he provided audit and tax services to clients in the oil & gas, gold mining, oilfield equipment and money management industries.

Mr. Sander received his BBA in Accounting and MBA with honors from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Houston Society of Financial Analysts.
